I just installed a rebuilt (long block) 350 in my boat. I had it timed good and she ran preety good for the first trip out. Then it ran rough on the next trip. I checked the timing again and it seemed off. I re timed it and the same thing, ran good for a while then bad. The RPMs start out at about 3200 wot and fall as the day goes on.
Can the ditributor just be warn out? The boat is a 1984 Bayliner, I have no idea if the part has ever been changed or not.
Thnx in advance

Re: Volvo 260 (GM 350)

I hear a lot of talk on this board about advance springs rusting away in marine distributors
