Here's the problem:
Engine:
Volvo Penta 5.0L Gi
SN: 4012030047

I have a small water leak on the port engine water pump. It is no that bad, only about a drop a second at 2000rpm.
The engine compartment is supposed to be dry!

The pump is on the front of the fly wheel. When looking at the water pump impeller housing, there are 3 bolts that are very easy to get to. The 4th is not! The pump housing moves (rotates) and there is a pretty hefty U shaped metal bracket that mounts onto the engine that prevents rotation, It comes around and goes in between the intake hose and output hose. The problem is the 4th bolt is behind that bracket! I can not get behind, under, over that bolt to get to it. I tried to remove the bracket but appears to have not been moved in awhile and the impellers were just replaced in January.

Is there a special tool to get to it or what?

I have changed impellers out before but have never seen this problem. I am confident that it is an o ring or trash on the surface causing the leak.
Any suggestions It is just a little thing but when your are anal retentive, it bugs the heck out of you!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Remove the bracket, it's only held on by 2 bolts.
