89 volvo penta 230B identification

This is my first boat some I am learning but here goes

After researching a bit I may have a frankenstien. I thought it was a 230B (engine code) but it has dual carbs. i need help identifying .... thoughts?

Probably a 151, look at the starter mounting boss there should be a tag there.

Someone may have swapped in an aq151 aka 250 engine. Looks like there are a couple 2x4s under the engine as well,..definitly not original.

The cast engine numbers (B230) is the Volvo block designation, not the Volvo Penta engine model number. Look on the flywheel cover where the starter bolts on, there should be a tag with the model and serial number of your motor. That tag in your middle picture is for the transom shield and doesn't have anything to do with the engine.
