how do i find out what model my leg is ?

There is a plate on the inside of the transom assembly rear of the eng.

Without posting a year model, we have no information to go by.

The upper is prior to the A transmission and prior to the 290 hydraulic trim drive. Probably a 280, 285 or 275 upper with the Duo Prop lower. This means that you have the all steel bearing box and separate aluminum clamping collar. Seal kits for the 280, 285 or 275 transmissions will work for you. The 280, 290 or early DP seal kit will work for the lower unit.
The drive is missing the ring anode. Have you tried removing the props?

There is a place on the Outdrive located in below picture... they are not your exact outdrive im sure. but they should give you a general direction where to find the tag ... once you locate it please let us know what the tag says.. it will be able to give us a better understanding whether you got a whole complete unit or one that was pieced together...

Billbayliner, I haven't tried taking out the prop yet I wanted to but I don't know how. Do you need special tools to take off the prop?

Not really any special tools needed.
I asked about removing the props because I saw that these was no ring anode. Since there is no anode, these props may not have been pullled for some time and may be corroded onto the shafts. If corroded, you might need to cut them off. Be careful if you do.

There are two types of nuts holding the fwd prop on. One is held with locking tabs, the other is a nyloc nut. Same tool works on both types.

I suppose you could use a large set of channel locks or a pipe wrench, but they can be a little hard on those nuts.

A socket and an extension will get the lock nut in the prop loose.

For as often as you would be pulling the props while on the water, and if keeping these tools on board, you're better off with a pair of channel locks [multiple uses] and your socket set [which is on board already].
Why pack another tool that has only one use when your other tools will do the job?
Be careful and you won't ruin the finish on the large nut.
This is why I said that the V/P tool is not necessary.

Your PZNR 28000826 B tells you a model number, a serial number, probably a production date [if v/p still has that info] and the B tells you that transmission was originally set up w/ V-8 lower unit ratio [1.61:1].
That's about all that number is good for these days.
