Volvo SX Cobra exhaust port / bellows?

4.3L VolvoPenta SX Cobra outdrive.
Running with water hose / muffs while winterizing. I noticed all the water is exiting between hull and outdrive. I thought some, or all should be coming out the middle of the prop with the exhaust.
Is this OK, or What do I need to check??

Moving to Volvo forum.

Sounds normal. There are two idle relief ports on the transom shield. About 1" diameter. Depending on the angle of the boat on the trailer and the speed of the engine, water may not run out of the prop at all.
