I have a 30' wellcraft martinique with twin volvo pentas.
Recently I had both shift cables replaced.
Right after that happened, I notice that the port side throttle had to be pressed forward a tiny bit more than the starboard side in order to keep the RPMs even.
Now it seems the problem has gotten worse. When I go hammer down with both throttles to get out of the hole, the port side engine only gets to about 2600 rpms, while the starboard side gets to it's normal 3400/3600.
I'm thinking it's related to the recent shift cable replacement. But who knows.... any thoughts on how to troubleshoot and fix?
