looking for tune up specs on a model AQ125A 4 cyl volvo stern drive. I.E. Point gap or dwell, timing, plugs and gap. I'm not sure of year but looks like early 80's

Plug gap - 0.28"<br /><br />Point gap - 0.016"<br /><br />Timing - 10 deg BTDC<br /><br />Dwell - 62 (+ -) 3 deg (much more accurate than gapping)<br /><br />Idle RPM - 900<br /><br />Don't forget to check the infamous timing belt.<br /><br />Aldo

I have known timing belts to be good, bad and indifferent... but never infamous...<br /><br />Must be a "southern hemisphere" thing?
