I have a 2003 Volvo 5.7 GI-D that has water dripping from one of the screws at the front of the pump. Still working fine, no noise or overheating, but want to fix it before it causes me some headaches. Can you rebuild these pumps or am I just better of replacing the whole unit? Thanks for your help!

You might be able to rebuild it if the housings are ok, but Volvo doesn't have any repair parts for them. You would be looking for your own bearings and any other inside parts or seals.

Thanks for your reply Don. Probably not worth the headache of tracking down multiple parts from all over the place. Looks like a new one is in order, then maybe over time try and rebuild the other one as a spare. Don not sure if you could give me any input on my other post where both my engines are acting up, but your input on that situation would be greatly appreciated.
