Volvo exhaust manifold riser extension

Hi .<br />Does anyone know if there is a factory or custom riser extensions available.<br />I could make one from steel but feel it wouldnt last as long as cast iron.

merc are pushing some new/old terminolgy to fastrack tech trouble shooting. the riser now refers to the sandwich'd piece betweeen the elbow and the manifold. you can get factory risers.

I dont suppose you know if they fit the volvo?<br />Ive since found that volvo make them for the bigger engins but not the 3 ltr.

No, Mercruiser parts won't work.<br />Think you might let us know what year and model Volvo you have?

Sorry Its a Volvo Penta Petrol 3 ltr Model 3.0 GS <br />New in 2000 4 cyl <br />Very sweet little engin .. light for small boat. I would love to have been able to fit a deisel but the weight!! We dive a lot.. 4 bottles and 2 fatties in the back. Yep gotta raise the riser
