290 volvo trim cylinder issue (maybe?)

I just had one of the cylinders rebuilt. Put it back on, connected everything back up and tested without the outdrive on. Ran it up and down 5-6 times but the first cylinder in line goes up and down before the other (rebuilt) one. They both will go all the way up and down but always the first one thats connected to the pump lines goes up and down before the other. I am sure this isnt normal. Plenty of oil in the resevoir.Any thing else I can try? Thank you

Ayuh,... Put the drive back on,...
It'll keep the cylinders in time with each other...

ok great news!!!! Once i thought about it it made sense as without a load it has to fill up the closest one first. thank you!!!
