I have a 91-92 Volvo penta 430b (205hp). It had ac delco .mr43t plugs installed from previous owner. I pulled them out to replace them I accidentally threw the away when I purchased same plug I realized that the new ac delco mr43t plugs I bought are considered long reach where as I need the regular plugs no part store around me show that plug in a regular or short reach. Can anyone tell me the correct plug or cross ref. To another plug NGk, champion, etc.... And also what is the proper gap setting for this motor. I don't have a service manual that says what the plugs should be gaped to. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was told an NGk plug, can't remember the number off hand, gap at .035. Motor fires up idles good runs good under slow rpm rev but quick on the throttle it falls On it's face. Before I changed plugs it fired right up and ran good the first time after winterization.
