Hello all: I have been trying to find a part# for my 1994 volvo penta 5.0 mfi ford engine
with this ID# 50FI-A-PMDA. I need a new impeller for the sherwood pump. Was told it was only 2 years old. It was making a lot of noise, so I pulled the pump off It was really hard to turn by hand. Impeller did not look bad, but I'm thinking it is the wrong one.
I've done a few before, but no expert by no means. Bearing seems fine also. I tried here first to buy it but i-boats engine # did not have the A in it. Thaks Dave R.

marinepartsexpress.com has schematics that may supply you with a part number.

I have the same motor. Definately marine parts express. Mine only lasts a year or two as well. You can also get aftermarket impellers as well. The bearings and seal are available from NAPA.
