1992 Volvo 431B is a GM 4.3l engine?

Can anyone confirm this? This is a new boat for me. Mechanic who checked it out suggested a tune-up, which I can do myself. I prefer to save money on parts at the local auto parts store when possible. No need to spend twice as much for plugs at the marine Volvo dealer if I can help it!

Any recommendations for service manuals on this engine and it's DP-C I/O?

Only Volvo Penta Stickies. Engine info is: 431B / PS, 4100133964, 868529

Had to go to Napa Auto Parts for car stuff anyway, so while I was there I asked if they could cross reference my Volvo Penta 431B. What do you know, they could! Sure enough, just like my last Volvo Penta, it's a Chevy!

Yes! I did look at those stickies before I started this thread. No reference in those subjects to my engine...
