Carb'd Volvo 3.0 stalling when moving throttle fast

Hi, I'm having a small problem. I have a Carb'd volvo penta 3.0. When I give it gas I have to move the throttle very slowly or else the engine will stall. When I move the throttle fast the engine just stalls out and will restart fine again. Where can I start?

Sounds like your accelerator pump isn't working. With the engine off, look down into the carb while you advance the throttle. Should see a squirt of fuel.

^^^ Yup, time to rebuild the carb.
