I have looked at the archives and cannot find a recommendation for a replacement fuel filter for my 1996 Glastron 260 hp Volvo Penta fuel filter. Getting desperate. Thanks.
Have been to this site and it makes no sense to me. I don't know what the numbers mean, and there is no indication on the old fuel filter.

When looking for parts, you need to go by engine model or serial number, not year. Year is only the year of your boat, not the engine, and there may be significant changes in the parts you are looking for. Fortunately the fuel filter has been the same one since 1994.
