Are the 6 transom bolt pattern on a Volvo Sp the same as on the Volvo 280? Im doing a swap on my 1980 28' Bayliner Flybridge. It has a GM350. I noticed on the donor 280 that the Bellhousing bearing seal was ripped and it looks like its been ripped for a long time and grease had leaked out into the bellows. The bearings feel rough and should be replaced? Are these bearings in the bellhousing pressed in or are they held in by a snapring or are they even replaceable. I haven't pulled the grease seals just yet. I hope I don't have to buy a whole new bell housing. Any help is appreciated. Broke and on a budget!
