Volvo Penta AQ130 plug wires

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Spark plgu wire set for my 4 CYL AQ130D inboard ? I found some online, but they were $220 !(www.volvopentastore.com)

The original ones have bad connectors on them .. I bought some plug wires from the auto parts store (They were for the old "iron duke" motor)

Is this even safe for me to do ? Do they have to be marine grade?

I am getting arcing between the coil wire and the block .. So I am sure these plug wires are cheap !

Nope,... The differences are how they attach to the plugs,+ the cap...

Yea the "nubs" on the end of the volvo wires were closed ends .. the auto parts store ones were open ends on both sides .. They are working but would like to have the correct ones ...

I wonder if I can use any coil for this motor ?
