Volvo 130 4CYL WOULD NOT START FROM IGNITION

I have a 1983 Bayliner with a Volvo 4 cyl engine. I cannot start it from the ignition, but can jump it from the starter. When it starts it runs for a while , about two minutes, then shuts down. Any help is appreciated. I am not familiar with the Volvos

It is a AQ125A

That's why it's always good to give engine model. It's not a 130hp motor, it's only 115.
Head up to the Adults Only sticky at the top of this forum and look at the starting troubleshooting thread (Item #2)
Also, go to the link below and download the OEM service manual for your engine. There is a wiring diagram that should help.
