1996 5.7gi Volvo penta oil pressure,please help

Hi, At 2000 rpms to 4500 rpms my oil pressure stay at 40-43psi and when I back it down to idle after a five minute run the oil pressure drops to 10 to 15psi. Does any one have the factory oil pressure specs? The oil I am using is Moble one synthetic 15w-50. Is the oil pressure ok and is this the right oil. Thank you for your help.

Just curious what you found out about your low oil pressure at idle? Mine does the same thing (2000 Volvo Penta 5.0 Gxi. I don't know the exact pressure because I just have an idiot gauge, but when I drop down to idle after running it for a while, it drops low enough to sound the low oil pressure alarm for a few seconds.

Mine is a 2000 5.7L GS but it does the same thing, I would say it is normal.
