Volvo 225E fresh water hose routing

I just replaced the engine in my 86 bayliner thqat was a 225E/275 volvo combo. the only problem that i have is i cannot remember how the fresh water inlet hose is routed. no matter how i route it, it does not look right. any help would be appreciated.

not realy, the trouble areas are where the hose runs by the motor mount and in between the alternator and alt. bracket. i dont remember how it was run through there and it rubs on both, the alt. bracket and the motor mount. it moght have before also, but it just dont look right.

Are you missing bracket #43 from the parts list? I added a zip tie on mine to keep it in place.

yes i am. thanks for pointing that out. i still dont think that it would keep it off of everything though. is it normal for it to rub in a few places. i did cut an old hose up and put over it where it rubs, so it should be fine. it bothers me that it does not look right though.
