2005 Volvo Sx Drive Trim Problem

I have a 2006 Regal 1900 with a 2005 Volvo 4.3 GXi and SX outdrive. I have noticed lately that after I get the boat up on plane and trimmed out, the drive will start trimming itself back down. I can tell this by the trim gauge and the my GPS speed. This will ahppen over about a 10 minute time period. I'll trim it up again and the same thing will happen. This does not happen on every trip. While on the trailer and with the drive all the way up, I can not force the drive down.

I would not think a cylinder is leaking by already. Any thoughts???

I believe the trim pump holds the set position by using check valves inside the trim pump body. I have noticed it once on my boat (alsoa Volvo SX drive) and it has not occurred since.
