hey guys

i need some help. i have an aq125/270. my boat is over heating and i dont know why. so i took off the heat exchanger and i saw that its not clean. how can i clean something like that? its really hard to put anything in it. its like a honeycone. plus when i blow on the pipe that connects to the exhuast manifold where the water go throw there. it was really hard to get any air in. i think that needs to be replace also...

thanks alot

Take it to a radiator repair shop, have them boil it out and pressure test it for leaks after it's cleaned.

There is no tool I know of to clean out that heat exchanger filter unit. You say you have removed the H/E unit? Take that apart and bring the filter part to a radiator shop as Don noted. some have used muriatic acid diluted to clean it out, but I opted to not mess with that and took it to a shop to clean out.
