Volvo Lower unit oil question

I have a Volvo DP-S drive, have always used Volvo synthetic lower unit oil (per spec). Went to the dealer last weekend, and the only Volvo lower unit oil they had did NOT say synthetic, just said 75W-90 GL5. My old bottles definitely said synthetic on them. Dealer claims that's all they carry. Did they change their labeling (I forgot to get the part no. to check)? Not sure why I've been using Volvo brand, any recommendations on other brands? As long as it's GL5 synthetic I assume I'm good? I realize this is probably a "religion" discussion like engine oil preferences, but there seem to be very few synthetic lower unit oils available locally (Penzoil and Lubrimatic are all I've seen).

I use Mobil 1 GL-5. You can get it at auto parts stores.
