I have got to replace a cracked exhaust manifold for a 1999 volvo penta 3.0 gs. I have been searching for a replacement. I believe OMC was using Volvo engines. The OMC manifold can be had new from Doug Russell for $274.49 while the Volvo Penta will cost $471.59. The OMC 3.0 lists a 3854045 exhaust manifold with a replacement recomendation of (use 3858870), the same part number that is specified for the Volvo Penta. What is the difference besides the price? Can I expect any problems using the OMC manifold ? Thanks
