I have a 94 Chris Craft w/Volvo 5.7L Inboards. The engines are probably 93's. One needs new hoses between the remote oil filter and the engine block. Stock parts are mega-$$$ and hard to find. Merc parts might work with the right adapter nipples - Volvo hoses have ferrule ends, Mercs have flared. Has anyone had experience with this?. I'd like to hear war stories before I go off buy a bunch of parts. Thanks.
