Like a lot of posts on this site, I've recently purchased my first boat. It is a 1988 SunRunner Weekender 235. The only info I have for the motor is a sales invoice that states it is a "remanufactured 1988 marine engine 305 longblock with standard rotation". The motor has volvo manifolds on it so I assume this is the typical GM motor marinized by Volvo. The outdrive for the boat is a Volvo 285. I really need general info on this combination. Example, things to look for, oil capacities, prop size etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
