I know the right answer is get a Marine Coil but I broke a stud on my coil helping my buddy trouble shoot his boat, thought we would do a little test and check with my boats coil on his boat, anyways I snapped one of the studs on mine, the negative one. Can I use a auto coil to replace it.
Also would you happen to know if I have points or not, again it is a 1992 431A volvo, does not look like any points I have ever seen but I am not seeing a electronic modulator either?
