I am replacing my motor and outdrive and am currently replacing bearings on my intermediate shaft and have a question about the yolk on my 280 dp yolk compared to the old original yolk which fits with the splines of the shaft. but the dp yolk fits tight and stops , also the older shaft has a closed off end to the yolk and the dp one is open. the question in can the two yolks be interchanged?
