Our boat with a Volvo Penta D6 300 engine is experiencing problems during a somewhat harder seagoing state. During testing on a flat sea there are no issues. Engine is good (3300 rpm) and steering / trim works fine. No EVC alarm. If the boat catches some waves then the engine goes down or to iddle speed with the following message;

What could this be, someone who knows witch cables we can check to solve this problem?

You have a bad connection somewhere, Start by disconnecting each connector between engine and helm and look for corrosion. Over time many have had similar issues and they all come down to a bad connection, the hard part is finding it
