4.3l blazer Motor to Oma cobra

Got the blazer motor down to th block and ready to install all my marine parts (everything is the same for bolt patterns etc) except for the oil filter on the auto motor has two lines going to the oil filter area. My old marine motor didn't have the oil lines(1995 Omc cobra) my question is if I can remove the lines and cap them or other options if anyone has ran into the issue before. Thank you for all the help!

welcome aboard.

you did pick up the same vintage truck motor? replace the core plugs with brass and head gaskets with marine MLS?

make sure you use the marine waterpump on the front of the block vs automotive - they may look the same, but they are not.

remove the oil filter adapter, replace with the threaded adapter for block mounted oil filter.
