what engines bolt to sx outdrive?

I have to replace my 3.0 I have an sx outdrive, can I easily put in a bigger engine? What will matchup?

You will have to change the gearing in your drive. The drives themselves are the same.

Any thing bigger like a V-6/8 might need stringer work?
The 3.0 mounts from the front and the v-6/8 motor mounts from the side.
The exhaust won't work and the inner transom shield ????

Might be cheaper to get another boat with a bigger motor??
