Ok. So my will no longer get past the 4200 rpm range with the 19 pitch used to hit 4800. I did all the rule of thumb tune ups and checks my low pressure fuel pump was only at 4-6 psi. Pulled both pumps and checked screens for paint chips. Non we're there. Checked any syphon valve it's good. The fuel filter is only put on last spring and maybe 3 tanks of fuel threw it. And if got another on the way. The low pressure fuel pump is Winning but my throttle body jets are spraying perfectly when I reve it up on the muffs. So I need a low pressure fuel pump for the 5.7 GSI PEFS. Carter fuel cell. I could not find it on Iboats. Any help I need to order one thx

Read the chart. I know what you want to hear but you need the fuel cell for your model if the pump is actually faulty as discussed on your other post.

Ok. I checked all out and you are correct. The whole fuel cell has to be replaced. If the low P pump is bad. That sucks. And I guess taking it apart to check the little screens. Could also end up in water / fuel bypassing each other if a 0 ring is rolled when reassembled causeing a slew of problems. No matter who does it. That's would be a Risk.

Why are you do sure the fuel pump is bad? Low pressure should be 8 +/-4. You also stated in your other post this has been going on for the previous 2 season's. If they are failing they will not last for 2 weeks let alone 2 years. I would run on an external tank first and rule out the anti syphon valve. Is the pump hot after you use it? Any debris or watet in the filter?

Well the anti syphon valve is kind of a ***** to get to. So I just sucked on the main fuel supply line.. and got a mouth full of gas real easy. Accidentally ". But I could not blow air into the tank. , I got a new fuel filter today. So I'm going to run some more test tomorrow. May do the external fuel tank test. Is safe to just use a 2 gallon gas can to perform that test. Just checking.

It was about 6 psi before. I took it apart to check for paint chips. After I carefully cleaned and reinstalled. It was at 2 psi. Idk.

That's the thing that confuses me. All three last pics of parts have the parts numbers that match up. But I keep getting told I cannot just buy the low pressure pump for my fuel cell. But then I find the pump that matches the fuel cell in the eBay pic. That matches the pic I took of my fuel cell tag ID. Maybe im missing something here.
