1995 volvo penta SX oudrive tilt/trim won't stay up

Ihave 1995 reinell with 5.7 volvo penta and SX outrive./ the trim motor works up and down but won't stay in the up or out position, it bleeds down. Is there a check valve in the pump I could replace.

There is, however it could also be the cylinder seals
