Removing the primary shaft on 1994 Seasport 7.4 liter GM serial # 4110104354

I am in the process of removing the engine from the boat. Have taken the stern drive off and am unable to get the primary shaft out. What is the procedure?

You pull the 6 bolts off the clamp ring. And use 3 of the screws to drive the clamp ring off

Unbolt the lag bolts

remove motor and PDS housing as unit
