5.7 GiC 300 Distributor timing

Does anyone know where I can find the procedure for setting the distributor timing on this engine? I have the engine on TDC on # 1 on the compression stroke. I guess I will set the distributor to fire on #1, and let the EGC take care of the advance. Seems like last time I did this, someone sent me a picture of the inside of the distributor and where the rotor should point to. I can't seem to find anything online to help with this. The engine is a 2011 and does not have the Delco EST . Thanks in advance. Dave-R

I just found that post from from last August when you helped me then. My new engine spun a rod bearing, so here I am installing the engine again. That post has all I needed to set the distributor correctly. Once again thanks Funtimes for your help. Dave-R
