Fuel injection is flooding out motor- intermittent

I'm having an intermittent issue with my fuel injection system flooding out the motor on a 95 volvo penta with a ford 5.8. Any suggestions? Fuel pump or regulator maybe?

I would be leaning toward a leaking injector

you can test both the regulator and fuel pump with a fuel pressure gauge

Agree, probably the fuel injector leaking. I would pull them and send them off to be flow tested. Cost about 20 per injector

If you get a pressure gauge you can read what the pump/reg is working at

Wellcraftcruzer95, did you ever find out if the injectors were leaking? I have a similar issue and I suspect a leaking injector or two.
