5.0 Volvo penta oil pressure

Hi, Guy's I noticed last season my oil pressure gauge fluctuating a couple of lbs. I checked it with a test gauge with same results.
Anyone have any ideas what would cause this? This seems to be just at idle. Thanks.

and what pressure are you running?

and what oil are you using?

were you using a mechanical test gauge?

what were the fluctuations, a couple is 2-3 pounds. was it more than that

It was about 30psi if I remember. As I said it was last season. I run 30W synthetic Which is what Volvo recommends.
I did use a mechanical test gauge.
Also it was just a couple of lbs. 2,3 maybe 4

30 psi is fine

2-3 psi fluctuation could be a variety of things from a hanging relief valve plunger to a bit extra clearance in a beari g.

I would watch it and simply go boating
