The other day had a couple issues with my VP501. Today I found this...see photo. A couple questions. Where is the water coming from and what is the white crap? I've owned the boat for 6 months and use it weekly. I top it off almost every time. It's a saltwater fishing boat. I replaced the sender upon discovering a leak a couple months back, and the leak stopped. I have the standard vent, and run it pretty hard digging the bow from time to time. First time this has happened. The symptom was while running out we overtook a party boat and dug the bow a bit. It bogged, then recovered after a few seconds. Second issue was a slipping alternator belt. Had to limp back in. Thinking the limping may have been more fuel now. Thanks for,your feedback!
