SO.... the engine peaks at 3700 RPM not 5000 accelerates normally without any check engine lights and then slowly begins to open up to max RPMS, when I say slowly over a period of 3 - 4 minutes? Where do I start to look I'm guessing a new fuel filter - because it takes 3-4 minutes to build pressure. The boat is garaged in dry storage - just started acting up - I would like to learn how to service or where to begin looking to fix the problem.
