The debacle runs!!

After a month of gathering all of the missing parts... I had the distributor on the proper cam tooth first try! Took some dinking around to get it to run, but as soon as I got it running and put a timing light on it and set it, I'm very pleased.

The cursed out drive won't go down though... 1998 omc with a 5.7 GS and sx out drive. I'm thinking I need to test the switch. Went through the sticky post and am not getting signal. It's late and dark. I'll get my multi meter from work tomorrow.

Really wanted to be taking it out on the water tomorrow after work. One more darn thing!

It does idle, accelerate (no load) and pump water!

Any pointers on a whole new throttle lever? Mine has the trim switch on it. Also, is there supposed to be a trim switch on the dash under the ignition? Cause I have an empty hole there... looked behind the Dash and didn't see any obviously loose/cut wires. 10amp fuse at the trim motor is good. Board that the throttle arm/lever is on is kinda loose...
