Holley Carb Fitting Behind Elec Choke?

Not sure what is supposed to go on the brass fitting just to the left of the choke in the image. This port is sucking a bit of air when I place my finger over the orifice. I don't notice any change in idle smoothness. Runs great from ilde to WOT. Thanks for any help.

Believe that for a hot air style choke and you can block it off. I think.

Thanks Pat. You were correct. For automatic chokes it is supposed to suck air. This port has a screen inside. For manual chokes it is blocked off. Found some great info on it here: http://www.bob2000.com/carb.htm
