I have a 2009 Volvo penta 4.3 gxi with SX drive only 71 hrs on it. Late last year I ran into and issue where the boat start fine was a little rough on the idle but when I try to take off the rpm would increase to about 3000 but I couldn't get pas 10 mph and the exhaust got very loud. We would let of and try again and after about the 4th or 5 the time it would take off but still seamed underpowered. At 3000 rpm I should be cruising between 28 and 32 mph depending on the trim but now I barely get 20. I changed the oil, filter, checked the fuel and changed the separator filter before putting it away for winter. Got it out again for first time and it does the same thing. Temperature is normal oil pressure a little high but within operating range(little over filled) looking for some suggestions before taking to my local dealer.
