Spun prop hub or drive coupler???

Obviously hoping it is a spun hub not a coupler.....

Happily driving down harbor today 3000revs VP 5,7GXi 2010 SX-A drive suddenly lost drive, strange sound, tried again engages gear normally comes onto plane then suddenly as the load increases loses drive.
Happily goes along at idle, no vibrations, no strange noises......plenty of power........

Any ideas which is more likely????!!!

To eliminate the coupler, draw a line with a marker across the prop hub, kind of like the below pic. If the line is not straight after experiencing the surge, it's the hub. If it's still straight, then the problem is between the prop shaft and flywheel. Sure hope it's the hub!
