Water coolant reservoir

I have a 4.3GL Volvo Penta engine. When I look up the manual online it show a coolant reservoir. My boat does not have one! Do I need one? I'm confused!! Any help will do... I attached a picture of a manual I pulled up online.

That photo is of a motor that has the "Fresh Water" cooling option installed. The fresh water part being "Prestone or Anti-freeze" circulating in the engine block. Your boat is most likely "Raw Water" cooled and would not have the reservoir you see in the picture. Hope this helps.
