I bought a ted Williams off someone my boat had a 20 inch transom the motor that came with the boat when sold to mf has 21 shaft roughly from clamps to plate. This one is 19"
It's to long to be in the short shaft category so I thought it would work because it would be in the long shaft family I read on some website that if your within an inch it would work. But I was told at the marina that it's not going to work
Any advice would help
