Who Made the late 80's Sears/Eska 9.9 engines?

Curious who made these? Chrysler/Force? Are they decent?

Eska made them. They used Tecumseh components on some models...

I've heard the Tecumseh (mowers anyways) carburetors are not the best to work on. The water cooled engines look like something else I've seen before in the outboard world. Did Tecumseh make those?

Are the Eska outboards decent?

gamefishers were made by Eska till 1986 which was a Sears brand and then they were made by Force. The Eskas are good motors, Easy to work on and run decent. Ive owned a couple and a couple Clintons as well. The Solid state ignition was the only concern with them.
