Happy birthday son, with a little work it might even run!

My dad gave me an outboard for my birthday this week that he picked up at a garage sale. (Not sure yet if it's a blessing or a curse)! After a little research it's a 46 Firestone 3.6 hp made by Scott-Atwater. It looks complete except for whatever attaches to the carb intake and possibly the front of the 2 stroke oil reservoir right next to it. I have not been able to figure out what should be here? Does anyone have a similar motor that they could check or take a picture of?

Also, anyone have any documentation, manuals, or suggestions on where I could find parts for this motor? eBay looks pretty slim!

Thanks for your help.

I have a 3.6hp Scott made by McCullouch. It seems like the same motor as yours. On the front of the carb is just a small metal cover held on with 2 screws, it isn't anything important. I will try and send pictures in a bit, I don't have any right now.
