gamefisher lock up

Yesterday I was getting my motor to run I notice my carb was dirty got it going so I got it going and my motor start to get hot and there was not a lot of water coming out and after that it shut off and the motor lock up so I let it cool over note and still lock .what do I need to do

Lock up as in you can't turn it over with the plugs out? And what motor are we talking about here? I recall game fisher is a bass boat with a force ob on it?

Yes a gamefisher 25 I never try to take plug out and turn it. But I know it was not spiting out a lot water would that make it lock up

Yeah if you overheat a block it can lock up on you, you also could have a bad head gasket and cause a cylinder or 2 to fill up with water and not be able to retract. Take the plugs out and see if you can turn it and look for Something out of the ordinary is step 1
