1963 sea king 5 hp lower unit

What year and/or hp will interchange. Need a lower unit.

Is this a full gear shift or direct drive or Neutral/Drive? Model number may be on the mounting bracket.
Many parts from all the private labels supplied by Gale may fit.
Goodrich "Sea Flyer",Gamble Skogmo "Hiawatha",Fedway "Saber",AMC "Saber",Atlas" Royal",Gale Products, Spiegel "Brooklure",Goodyear "Sea Bee"
And the various Sea King models.
An Expert may be along with more specific info.

I believe all 5hp Gales were full gearshift by 1963. Just about any complete lower from Gale motors and/or Johnson or Evinrude 5, 5-15, 7-1/2hp motors of the era will fit----as long as they came from motors that were rubber mounted. If you get too far out in years, the shift rod setup was changed. Also, internals were changed when they eliminated the shock absorber and used a rubber hub prop. Since there are so many possibilities, the better question would be "will xxxx fit?"

Model GG18801A. I think I have most of the parts, but not 100% sure does anyone have a schmatic or a source where I could get one. If you mean forward, neutral, reverse for full shift that is what it has.
