I had originally started this thread on the Johnson forum and nwcove said I need to be here. I need to rebuild [ rings and gasket set ] a Mont. Ward 7.5 hp model CED-50577A, serial # 18X-113147, AV-640-21, AV-817, ESKA Tecumseh 640-21. This is all the numbers that I could find on the motor and on the net concerning this motor. Can anyone tell me where to buy rings and gaskets so I could rebuild this engine. I bought this boat and motor together they are both mont ward sea king and i think they were sold together from wards, and i think it is 1981 vintage. Can anyone help? Thanks to everyone this is a great site!! OH i almost forgot to ask what would be the best book to buy for this engine. Thanks Richard
